June 17, 2010: I went back to hike Awa'awapuhi Trail to a vista lookout that I have bypassed the first time when I did the Nu'alolo Cliffs Trail. The lookout at the end of the Awa'awapuhi Trail is just as breathtaking as the Lolo Vista Point and even more dramatic and DANGEROUS if you decide to go beyond the railings and down a side ridge with phenominal dropoffs all the way down to Awa'awapuhi Valley to the right and Nu'alolo Valley to the left. There is absolutely no room for error, if you lose your balance, there's a pretty good chance you will find yourself over 3,000ft down into the valleys that make up the Na Pali Coast!
DANGER: The section shown in this video is exceptionally dangerous! Do NOT attempt if you even have the slightest fear of heights or bad balance. You are putting yourself at extreme risk of death! The state of Hawai'i has posted signs at the end of the trail by the railings of the lookout. Do NOT go beyond these signs! The State of Hawai'i nor I will not be responsible for any harm you may experience should you attempt this! You've been warned!
Great vid! Thanks for the effort.

I took a long look at that ridge yesterday. No way I was going to walk out on that. The exposure is intense!
