Also know as "Identification of the Japanese Zero", this is a military training film produced by the US Airforce. Its purpose was to instruct pilots in the Pacific theater of war about recognizing hostile planes at long distance to avoid friendly fire incidents. It focuses on the characteristics, capabilities and weaknesses of the World War II Japanese fighter aircraft known as the Zero.
Part actuality footage, part dramatization, interspersed with animated segments illustrating the physical characteristics of the Zero.
