@BillyIsATwat23 I agree that Matt Smith is the Insane/Child-like megalomaniac. That is the kind of Doctor that the show really needs right now. David Tennant was, in my opinion the best Doctor since Tom Baker. Their manic/ eccentric personalities were perfect for their time. I still think that they are the two best Doctors.

He is, and always will be my favorite Doctor. ^_^ Love the 10th and 11th but... it's just not the same.

@amirizar2012 Matt Smith is easily the most Doctor-like Doctor that New Who has given us, and I believe that's why lots of fans of the post 2005 show don't seem to fond of him.
Smith's interpretation of the role is obviously inspired by Patrick Troughton with a moderate dollop of post-Delta and the Bannermen Sylvester McCoy thrown in, arguably the two most layered and "alien" of the Doctor's previous incarnations...
