It takes a lot of strength to break out of what you did. You're a true rolemodel, I hope you know that. I live in West Palm Beach, most of my friends are involved somehow, some way in gangs. The entire side of my father's family is Italian, I'm not allowed to meet any of them for 'reasons my mother won't say'.

I have so many opportunities to involve myself in gangs with my friends, but people like you who talk of their experiences help me not to. I can't hate someone for what they are though.

It takes guts to do what you did, I myself was in a gang before. Then I realized what I was doing was wrong and changed my life, watching this made me appreciate everything I have, I tried to help those who are in a gang to get out and realize what they are doing is hurting those they care about.
