Technical Glamour (Barbie Wilde & friend) teach Sooty, Sweep, Soo, Matthew and Alphonse how to do robotic mime on the classic British kid's TV program 'The Sooty Show', which was the longest running children's TV show in the UK. (Soundtrack: The Art of Noise 'Beat Box') Barbie was a member of dance-mime-music group Shock (Tik and Tok); acted in such films as 'Hellbound: Hellraiser II' (as the Female Cenobite) and 'Death Wish III'; and presented various music & movie review TV programs.

Does anyone know which Sooty episode this is taken from? Return Of Alphonse?

It's hard to pinpoint when we filmed this - I think it was in 1987. Could it have been "Computer Dating"?

@thesootyshoworg mmm...I just noticed Nick Bigbsy credited as the director on this, which means it might be a 1986 episode, as I believe Stan Woodward directed the 1987 episodes!

@bwbarbie If you filmed this in 1987, it has to be Computer Dating, as that is the only episode from the 1987 series I'm missing in my collection! Thanks for uploading it!
