We Need To Change Ourselves First!

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

We have corrupt people as our leaders today but instead of blaming them for the condition our Ummah is in, we need to fix ourselves first. Allah has told us in the Qur'an that He will not fix our condition until we fix what is within ourselves. We need to ask Allah to purify our hearts and to grant us the ability to implement Islam in our daily lives. We must return to our Deen and adhere strictly to the Qur'an and Sunnah. Once we've done this, everything else will follow smoothly insha'Allah. We'll be a stronger Ummah and we'll have the best leaders insha'Allah.

While I understand when people say we need to fix ourselves, how can we do so in such a corrupt society. If we focus on ourseleves only, during this time our brothers and sisters are being killed. We need to work on our selves and for the khalifah at the same time. With an Islamic state present, muslims will become better in Islam. It's a pyramid effect. What this guy said is so wrong.

Why can't we? It doesn't matter what society we're living in, we can change ourselves to become better Muslims. Allah will not fix our condition until we fix what is within ourselves. How are we going to revive the Ummah and reestablish the Khilafah when we have given up our duties towards Allah? We've abandoned our religion and that is why Allah has humiliated our Ummah. Allah has promised us victory, and Khilafah will be given to those who have Imaan and practice righteous deeds.(Quran 24: 55)
