91 Grand Prix Exhaust

Stock exhaust with minor intake mod. Ideas on mufflers that would sound better? Looking to upgrade.

Just a couple things. I'm not saying you don't know what your car is ok. Are you sure it is an SE model, I didn't think the SE had dual exit exhaust. Im also wondering about the engine too. An se won't have the 3.4L DOCH motor and it doesn't sould like the 3.1L MPFI either of an SE. COuld you do a video shot of the engine if you don't mind. Have you chose an exhaust yet.

I can't show you the engine because i dont have the car anymore, but i do have pictures of it if you want to see ill show you, but im 100% sure it was the 3.4L

i was looking at some mufflers on dynaflow or something where you can preview the audio of the mufflers but its powered by a loud engine and its basically where the noise comes from. my cousin got a magnaflow muffler and it sounds pretty good but its 100 for each

@CarCrazyMike82 hey i have a 91 grand prix se and mine has dual exhaust on it its 180 hp stock ill take a vid of the engine for u and post a vid soon if u are interested mine is the 3.1 liter soon to get a supercharged 3.4 gtp engine in it later

I have a 93 SE and mine has dual exit exhaust, but you are right about the SE not having a 3.4. The STE (i think that's what the model was) was the one with the 3.4L engine.

well i had a 95 3.1 with dual magnaflows. they were only stock diameter but mandril bent but it sounded pretty decent. my 98 with the 3.8 sounds way better though.
