Brilliant, can someone tell me is there a recording of Dennis singing "When Irish eyes are smiling"? I maybe English, but there are some wonderful songs, singers and music that come out of the Emerald Isle.

I met my wife in a marquee in Crossmolina where Dennis was playing 30 years ago.The song has lasted well,unlike the marriage,unfortunately.Many thanks for posting a most beautiful song.Mike.

Limerick is much better than that! What a stupid song for such a beautiful City!! What has happened to beautiful rich Irish music. Limerick is truly a beautiful City. it deserves a much better song than this stupid melody and text. So far the "Old County Down", "Dublin's Fair City", "Galway Bay" and a host of other places in Ireland have beautiful tributes paid to them. How come Beautiful Limerick ends up with this weak tonal garbage?!
