After protests erupted in Pakistan following the release of the blasphemous film, the government of Pakistan banned YouTube for an indefinite period to pacify emotions. Two months later, the service still remains blocked. We try and find out if the ban has served any real purpose and its implications on freedom of speech and the right to information?
