  • appetite enhancer? I didn't know that!

No wonder so any Americans are obese.

  • If you can find it, Mexican Coca-Cola tastes MUCH better than the US version with HFCS.

  • This guys needs to go back to school.

    1. Fructose doesn't raise blood sugar. It's shuttled directly to the liver.

    2. Glucose raises blood sugar and thus insulin. But insulin plays a role in telling the brain to stop eating.

    3. Whole grains are problematic on many fronts: high in starch and potential food intolerances. Plus most grains we eat are GMOs.

  • 4 "company men" did not like this video.

  • His overall message is correct and is indeed an important one, however his mention of fructose causing an insulin spike is a false claim. The pancreas does not have receptors for fructose (only for glucose) and in fact fructose can only be metabolized (broken down) by cells found in the liver. It is interesting to note that this characteristic of fructose is one that forms the basis of the definition of many of the modern day chemicals that we have labelled toxins/poisons to the human body.

  • Only sugars you should be getting is from fruits, you have to eat the skin with it to to get the full benefit.

  • HFCS has nothing to do with getting Fat. I drink 6 sodas a day or more. Have been for decades. I weigh 115. And I'm a guy at 5 foot 7 inches. Actually I only have 8 percent body fat. I have always been between 115 and 125 pounds.

  • Government subsidies to corn growers (despite massive surplus corn production) and import tariffs on natural sugar from cane and beets is NOT a competitive market. It is an artificial market promoting an artificial product, in this case. And no sugar found in nature shares the same chemical makeup found in HFCS, which is the product of a 17 step lab process.

  • I don't want poison.

  • its everywhere in the food that we buy except the fresh and all natural foods. prepared manufactured foods chances are have HFCS. SO PLEASE READ THE INGREDIENTS CAREFULLY.

  • DUMBASS!
