10/22/08 1000th Tweet on Twitter.com: John Pemble Video Blog

I am giving away my CD to promote my ambient music career via my 1000th tweet on the microblogging site Twitter.com For several months I have been posting tweets of 140 characters or less on Twitter.com/johnpemble and the last week of October I will reach a milestone number of tweets. I have observed many traditions on Twitter, one of which is to tell a pirate joke when a person reaches 100 followers or 1000 Tweets. Normally I take great care with the language I use in my online posts for Twitter, but for my 1000th Tweet I will use salty language for my pirate joke. Im doing this to help promote my music career, my text blogs, and my video blogs. On October 22nd I went around Fort Dodge Iowa in a Star Trek The Next Generation uniform to proclaim my intentions to tell a dirty pirate joke for my 1000th tweet on Twitter.com
