Koh Rong, Cambodia

We are at a remote guest house on Koh Rong. The guesthouse we stayed at on Koh Rong is not publicly advertised. The owner does not want the information given out. To respect his privacy and business, I will not respond to any requests for guesthouse information.

The closest inhabited area was a 200-300 person fishing village and hour and a half walk down the beach. Civilization was a 3 hour boat ride away. There was no electricity, no running water and it was excellent. White sand, crystal clear waters, a restaurant and a bar.

@spacetraveller2521 You are right, Sherlock. The tourists that stayed at this secret, private, and unadvertised beach cut down the trees, threw their garbage in the water, and built concrete resorts. The resort and contact information is still private, but what has changed is the man who bought the island and is turning it into a resort. Get pissed at globalization, get pissed at the man who bought the island, but direct your ignorant rants elsewhere.

There was a beautiful island I loved years ago that I haven't even told my friends about. Then people like you came along and posted it on the internet/youtube. now the place is ruined, tree's cut down, garbage floating in the water and concrete resorts built everywhere.. maybe you didn't get why the owner didn't want the information out.
