Chet Atkins "Mr Bojangles" (from Solo Sessions)

Chet recorded at least three arrangements of this tune that I'm aware of..this is from the "Solo Sesions" CD, and in my opinion it's the best..Chet plays at a good clip..as compared to the cut from the Superpickers album which was slow and lazy in pace..anyway, even though he plays at a truly livly tempo, the notes remain ultra crisp and clear..they almost sparkle, in fact. this was true genius at work...pure Chet!

@daffydoug Oh, and btw. this was from his solo sessions album, which means Chet most likely recorded this first thing after arising, (in his home studio) maybe even before he had his morning coffee. Yes, he was THAT good.

I just saw Tommy Emmanuel and his brother play this last night in NYC.  Killed it as usual. Much respect for all these guys!
