Flemish separatists try to disrupt 'Shame' demo (raw video)

A group of Flemish separatists intercepted the Brussels SHAME demo this Sunday. The provocation underlines just how divided Belgian society has become, and helps explain some of the political problems which have preceeded this demo.

@Tolstoievsky SHAME was a demonstration held on Sunday (23rd jan) organised by 5 Brussels based students, calling for the politicians to get over this current political 'impasse' and form a government for the country. There were an estimated 45,000 + attending.

Look how tolerant these protesters are, if they had guns then they would have shot the guy with the flemish flag, wich is an official flag for the dutch speaking part of belgium, just as the blue flag you see is the offical flag of brussels. This demontration made me even more in favor of a separation.

Shame on the demonstrators! And shame on the poster for pulling this footage completely out of context!

The truth behind this video is that the manifestation was supposed to be unpolitical, but it turned out into a Belgicistic charade of ignorance. More than 80% of the people there where francophone.

On the charade itself, Flemish flags were torn apart and when people like these silently protest against it, they get things thrown at them!

Belgium = a dying state.
