@junenostalgia You described the word unconsciously. But you can be proud of yourself, but that doesn't mean you have to tell the whole world how awesome you are. It's obvious he/she meant it in the ''I know how to play this piece, and I'm only 12; that makes me somewhat of a prodigy'' way, but I guess this is a bit of an exaggeration :)

@shenkeey Are you saying it's wrong to be proud of oneself? It's not, and it's not the same thing as arrogance. Also, nowhere did I "describe the definition of bragging". Did I define the word bragging? Please don't try to make false claims.
-
@junenostalgia You just described the definition of bragging.
And 12-year-olds can think too, imagine yourself when you were 12; you were perfectly capable of having feelings, thinking of other people, knowing what is bad and what is right.
-
@shenkeey In which part of their original comment were they "bragging"? They were stating that they can play it, they enjoy it and it's not difficult to them. Even if they were bragging, are you really expecting a 12-year-old to humble themselves just so you could feel content? Are you serious?

@Darknessenceify Firstly, take any of the slow movements from piano concertos. Those are obviously pretty tricky - although a lot of that difficulty isnt in the actual notes. Chopin's Nocturnes could be classified as slow, most of them are tricky as hell. Try looking for slow pieces with thicker textures - such as Scriabin's Etude op 8 no 11 - and remember that in slow pieces with thinner textures your playing has to sound completely "perfect" - see Ravel Piano Concerto, 2nd mvt.

@junenostalgia No, I hate a 12-year-old because he/she is bragging about being able to play it at the age of 12. If he/she told me ''could you please watch it, I'm a bit young though; so it may not be perfect'' i would very much not mind it
-
@shenkeey You hate a 12-year-old simply because they can play this piece at the age of 12 and enjoy it? You are more immature than the 12 year old. It was completely unnecessary of you to him/her apart for that. You just sound jealous. Why your comment has any upvotes at all is beyond me.

This here is probably one of the most beautiful things I've heard in my life.

@MrsChocolatte99 Nobody gives a fuck about you playing this piece so young. If you said ''I recorded this song, you could take a watch at my profile'' and we noticed it ourselves that you're 12, then it's awesome; now it's gay.
