  • I am the bro to moco635. That day we saw the Grear Don Walser perform twice. I was blown away by him. He was accessible after the gig and was a very kind gent that was happy to talk with us. I later had the good fortune seeing him play a gid in Austin at Jovita's. There, he signed two press pics for my brother and I. I have every available (on itunes) song from your Dad. There is nothing like listening to Don Walser, he opened my eyes in a big way.

  • the Mercury Lounge on Houston.The audience at the Lounge was very much like your Dad desrcibed.In fact, when my bro & I entered the joint I cudn't believe that he attracting that kinda crowd & I told my bro that this "shud be interesting!" I also remember your Dad commenting on my name(i share the same name as a famous Tenn fiddler).that was cool.He was the real deal.Genuine.Great American.I have an autographed photo of him in my pool room."To a great friend"(w/my name).Thx alot & RIP Don Walser

  • Hi Al, My brother & I met your Dad in Battery Park, NYC in '97 or '98.He gave a free concert alongside Bill Kirchen & Too Much Fun.After the show,Bill (who i knew) introduced me to your Dad as the "Pavorotti of the Plains".He was a true gentleman.He seemed to be genuinely pleased to meet my bro & I (i think he got a kick out of us dancing at the show plus we were feeling no pain at the time).We helped him in a cab(he had a knee injury) accompanied by your Mom.Later that nite he performed at
