@SPAMINGxU Apaches preferred bows for hunting and for war, but they trained with slings to help their accuracy and coordination the same way the Romans used heavy wooden swords to practice (in fact, the Romans also used slings to train legionnaires despite never using them on the battlefield). Shooting rabbits with a sling doesn't waste arrows and it helps you get ready for shooting with a bow.

After watching this video i went off and made one from jute twine and it turned out great. I'm surprised from the results. The pouch is perfectly even(beginner's luck i guess) and the braids turned out well and im all around pleased. Thanks for the instructions. Now all I have to do is learn how to sling the stones.
