@gougerkiks Electroshock therapy is used to treat people with catotonia and those with severe depression in which other methods have failed. It works to stimulate electrical pathways of the brain and cause the release of neurotransmitters. It's been used since the 1930's and is still used on over a million people every year. I am a psychiatric nurse...and I know that it does work. I also know that tasers can be dangerous.

@SportlineInc I don't think it's wise at all. Our brains cells communicate electrically and so does the AV node in our heart rhythm. This is why electroshock therapy works. Brain damage, heart arrhythmea, and heart attack are a real risk.
