Right...Some big paper manufacturer was pissed because hemp could produce 10 times more paper than from trees which they grew. So they paid off some politicians, put out ads that said it would make you kill people and such. Anyway your right. There are so many uses for this plant its almost unconstitutional that we can have it for medical purposes atleast.

Hemp was initially made illegal because it was an abundant source of industrial material that could not be cornered and controlled by big business.
Hemp remains illegal today for a very different reason.
It has been discovered that hemp kills cancer. Government and big business has known this for several decades. Legalizing and tailoring the use of hemp to erradicate cancer would be financially devastating to our economy.
"More people live from cancer than die from cancer."

you are da man, BRIAN MURPHY!
glad you are out of jail for that stupid thing that happened.
we must work together as the people of hawaii to make a law where we can get our medication safely and officially.
keep up the good fight man, we got your back!
-
keep up the good fight......LEGALIZE IT!
-
Well, that depends what you mean my decent. In my opinion theres not even enough in LA, which by far has the most medical pot dispensaries. If your in hawaii and concidering getting a card, than just go to a doctor that prescribes pot. If theres one near your than a dispensary likely will be too. I believe if you have a card, you can legally buy off the black market too.

Are medical grow ops cracked down on at all?
-
None at all, The law here allows MM but their is no legal way to get it.

Keep up the great work guys!

Even though they were ordered to stop, is there any sign that the DEA will ACTUALLY stop any time soon?
Does Hawaii have a decent number of dispensaries?

MCCFDIA and PWT were assisting Maui patients until they got arrested Nov 2008. There are no other public services currently in Hawaii.
