http://www.poolplayers.com - Dr. Cue Pool Lesson 43 -- Force Follow Shot (Walking the Dog Specialty) - One of the game's most valuable shots is shown in this instructional nugget. When the object ball is "behind the side pocket point" special force follow application is required for getting select position on your next shot or for making a game winning shot. A level cue movement with a smooth rapid rate of acceleration, plus a slightly less than full hit on the object ball will help you control the cue ball like a "dog on a leash".

  • This guy would be an awesome teacher to have a couple of lessons with! He explains everything so clear and relaxed...

  • Great series, and though I have been playing for a long time, I have been having a lot of trouble lately. I watched a bunch of these videos, and found or re-discovered a lot of fundamentals that I have forgotten or distorted along the way.

One question I have though is: why do you shoot with such short ferules and short tips? I know this has to effect the Q ball action. I have seen guys get new tips and actually cut the tip in half, then shape it. Again, whY?

    Thanks for the videos!
