  • Easy Goer was a super-great horse, and he handled sloppy tracks in his wins in the Woodward, and his first start as a four year old, but he didn't handle the Chruchill Downs slop at all, finished 2nd there twice, literally spinning his heavy, powerful wheels over it. That Churchill Downs slop and mud is much different from other tracks.

  • Easy Goer-One of the Fastest Champagnes-G1 ever run,up there with Slew &Devils Bags times as Champion 2yo. THe Fastest Mile ever run by any 3yo in the History of the Sport(Just 1/5 of a second off Dr Fagers World Record), The 2nd Fastest Test of a Champion Belmont Stakes ever run behind only Immortal Secretariat!! And 1 of the Greatest 3yo Campaigns ever as he is the Only Horse ever to Reel off the Whitney-G1,Travers-G1,Woodward-G1 &Jockey Club Gold Cup-G1 in addition to the Belmont Stakes-G1!!

  • Easy Goer had romped over Is It True in 3 races before this race. Easy Goer romped over Is it True by 4 lengths in one of the fastest Champagne Stakes of all time. He romped by 4 lengths over Is it True in the Cowdin, when that race was also a prestigious G-1,and he beat him handily in a maiden race by open lengths. Easy Goer hated and despised one track- Churchill Downs. Very similar to many great horses like Damascus,Point Given,Holy Bull,Easy Goer,Skip Away,Go For Wand and many others.

  • ERNIE'S words will live FOREVER and EVER! Ernie says, "HALL OF FAME Champion EASY GOER was a TRUE ALL TIME GREAT, one of the RARE ONES that come along ONCE in a LIFETIME, fastest three year old mile of all time in 1:32, second fastest Belmont Stakes of all time, many of the most historic races won by many Hall of Fame horses on or near track records. He deserved better &it saddens me the way he was handled(by his jockey's awful rides & trainer)in that supremely historic campaign." Forever

  • But the dramatic difference was that EASY GOER was always no doubt a top ten all time thoroughbred in talent, constitution, heart, ability, speed, stamina, as evidenced by his many many top ten all time thorobred performances in his career at every distance, but the two extremely atrocious choker Pat Day rides that got him beat a nose and desperation neck in two races sent him down into the top thirties where ss always belonged.

  • Very true, as if Pat choker Day only rode Easy Goer atrociously bad in two races? No sir, not at all. Typical typcial atrocious choker Pat Day rides on so many top horses costing them eclipse awards, derby's, breeders cup races, champion awards- Easy Goer, Java Gold, Turkoman,Sky Classic, Forty Niner, Menifee, Heavenly Prize, Seeking the Gold, Paradise Creek, Surfside, Banshee Breeze, and so many more.

  • Overyhyped? No Hall of Fame champion great who runs the fastest three yr old mile in history in 1:32.2, demolishing Secretariat's mark by one full second, a tick of the world record of Dr. Fager's, runs the second fastest Belmont of all time, runs so many of the best and most prestigious races right on track record performances, and gets beat an inch and desperate neck by two Pat despicable choking Day rides can be! It is impossible

  • Exactly, it was more like Pat Day was the actual and true choker, with his two despicably bad rides getting the best horse beat an inch and desperate neck in two races. Pat Day's riding was so despicably bad that even the UNBIASED Californian expert Bill Christine stated the obvious, it surely wasn't just Pat choker Day admitting the obvious, or all the eastern experts, that is for sure.

  • Easy Goer, hail and tribute to the REAL and TRUE Hall of Fame champion great who could run any distance, from sprint to mile to classic to marathon, and run any distance sensationally brilliant and SS could NOT!!NOT!! EG, the better horse, only got beat by two terrible terrible Pat choking Day rides by a nose and desperate neck. Very very simple

  • More like Pat Day was the CHOKER. Easy Goer, the better horse, only got beat a nose and desperate neck by two terrible terrible Pat choking Day rides. Very simple

  • How about those CHOKING excuses for all of SS choking losses? Whittingham calling bad rides, track conditions, and weight among many of his excuses.

  • @ernie1gotx Boy did Sunday Silence know how to CHOKE, he gets DESTROYED by Easy Goer in the Belmont, loses a GRADE 2 race to Prized, loses three times at Hollywood Park in his career, loses to Criminal Type giving LESS weight away than Easy Goer had to give away to him, and his own jockey STILL states Arazi was better than SS, and could do way more.
