do what argle says until it asks for compact or recom install
CHOOSE COMPACT (TOP ONE)
don't install direct x
don't run game
exit install
go to game folder and find game.exe
right click, properties, compat tab
run as win 98
run as admin
now try to open game HURRAY IT WORKS!

see i have this nancy drew game and when i put the cd in it brings up this thing for like uploading Pictures wat do i do

indeed, he make some of the games much more barable; i never really liked a few of the newer ones, dont know why but i never liked playing them. i thout the puzzle where cruel and unfair sometimes X)

i got that to, and some how fixed it.
but when i tryed to play the game it was all 'We change are sound systems! :D restart and have fun!'

Hmm...I was trying to install Secrets Can Kill because its the only one I havent played, and I made the new folder in My Documents...it didn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Pajama Sam!!! I love that game, was the 3 one the one with food groups? Waaaa, I wish i knew this before i got rid of my games...

Yeah, #3 is the one with the food groups. I need to make a walkthrough for that one someday.
