Stephen Colbert takes part in a great interview at the Harvard University Institute of Politics. He talks about his favorite guests, how he gets material for his show, and the affects he hopes his show will have on the media. It starts with a one-on-one interview and then he takes a couple dozen questions from the audience.
This was recorded on 12/1/06

After this was done he recorded a segment to be aired on his show (they talk about it in the last video) and you can watch that here:

  • @Sklavier yeah the 'questions' are surprisingly lame and softball...but maybe the questions were checked beforehand or it's the kind of questions ( though i wonder how one would describe such questions in a positive way) that the colbert team wanted , though that i am sure isn't the case !

  • that's what you get for growing up in charleston south carolina!!! ;)

"I think of it as a love scene often^" so true, love is all around

  • So is social retardation a requirement for admittance to Harvard? "Will you have lunch with me?" "Who do you vote for?" "Can I be your new black friend?" REALLY?

  • U fucking cracked me up.. and yeah I agree, they need to develop more personality or at least try not to be so stiff .... all in all Stephen is awesome regardless of how unappealing the crowd/questions may be
