  • You didn't even mention vocal damage at all! Chest voice RUINS countless female singers. It is just fine to use as long as you sing properly, but you didn't mention how!!! And singers use head to not get damage and to have a better tone, not to extend their range.

There are 2 main rules to proper chest technique: Don't sing in chest too loud. And don't sing in chest too high. If you break them, you get damage. Ever hear of nodes?! Thats what this video should have been about.

  • I didn't know Horatio Sans was a did voice.

  • i think you do everything based on your "feelings"!

  • You know it... I'm actually surprised that he didn't mention her in those singers... I was just waiting for it.

  • absolutely correct. I have found MOST of the "expert village" vocal teachers that do their videos are basically misinformed, lazy or re-educators of bad pedagogy.

I don't find many "experts" at Expert Village.

  • I agree... Must be nice to have a Soprano singing mother. Lessons straight from the womb created that amazing voice!!!

    We could only wish!!!! LOL

  • He said it was his feeling.

  • Mariah has an amazing head voice and she is awsome with her transitioning from chest to head.

  • That is so not the history of chest voice. This man has had bad vocal pedagogy training, and he seems to be too lazy do any research. But, like his teacher(s) before him, has no problem with just spouting jibberish.

  • you are AMAZING! thank you so much for all of your help! I wish I could get lessons from you in person!
