  • I USED TO THINK CHOPIN WAS MY FAVOURITE COMPOSER BUT I LOVE MAHLER, AND DVORAK EQUALLY AS MUCH! THANK GOODNESS WE WERE PRIVILEGED ENOUGH TO HAVE HAD ALL THOSE WONDERFUL, TALENTED MEN COMPOSE SUCH GREAT MUSICAL PIECES FOR US TO ENJOY! BEAUTIFUL PAINTING TO LOOK AT TOO WHEN YOU'RE LISTENING TO THE MUSIC.

  • @ginger8172 WHAT WAS THAT I CAN'T HEAR YOU YOU'RE NOT TYPING LOUD ENOUGH.

  • Oddly, I heard this on first season "Sesame Street", in this context: a spinning orb in the dark, somewhat pockmarked, and along with the music I heard the voices of the Apollo 11 astronauts, commenting on the moon, and then, as I hear the lunar lander descend, the camera pulls back, and, against the words, "Tranquility Base, the Eagle has landed," there is the quiet image of an orange on a plate, a boy's lunch half eaten.

Just a simple image, on Sesame Street no less, but it holds so much.

  • I had the privilegie to listen this piece at the the summit of the Popocatepetl vulcano in Mexico, during the winter of 1979 in a small tape-recorded, at the sunset-night...until today i have not words to describe.....i just become in ecstasys,... since then any moment i am in crisis or down i remember that time and magicaly it desapaers..now i am 60 year old , but sems to me that just was yesterday .....kisses to all of you

  • Starting at like 2:45 it sounds like something they would use in Harry Potter movies.
