  • true, silly slip made when I did...... 2(x+1)=2x+2 not 2x + 1

  • The answer is incorrect though?

  • which answer?

  • Its been many many moons since i have touched any of the maths I learnt through A-level however your brilliant videos make light work of refreshing my memory on all that i should have remembered from school. Your systematic approach and superbly straight forward explanations really are second to none. You have helped so many people judging from the positive comments recieved on your videos, so give yourself i giant pat on the back from me! these really are brilliant!

  • Thank you for your kind words.

  • eh another mistake spotted at time 5:45

  • now that was careless of me. well spotted. after removing brackets, top line should have been, 3 raise to the power 2x + 2 (not 2x + 1). mathstutor

  • So the 2 needs to be 2^1 and that power of 1 needs to be added? Why was I not taught that :(

  • your awesome (:

  • thats wrong

  • lovin the focus

  • Thank you!

  • @mathstutorbiz plz solve this for me :10to the power x=3 and 10 to the power y =7.

    Thanks..

  • lmao if this is a level im sorted :L

try: let f(x)= (b^n-a^n/b-a)x + ab(a^(n-1)-b^(n-1)/b-a), for a is not equal to b then show that for f(a) = a^n ¬¬ that was a tricky question... and they want me to retake my gcse math to get onto alevel math just cause i have an irish education =_= racist b*stards

  • i got x=1

  • thanks man, i'd been stuck on the same question for 1 1/2 hours and it was getting ridiculous. watched 3 minutes of this and i'd figured my question out.

  • These videos are really helpful, carry on making them they are really good at helping me understand as my teacher just rushes through everything. Thank you so much !
