If you're referring to "damned old L.A. street", I think he means "damned" in the literal sense:

1: liable to or deserving condemnation

    2: very bad : detestable

  • @TheROUGHSTOCKCOWBOY As Hank, Jr. said: If heaven ain't a lot like Dixie I don't wanna go

  • @ChipNSC77 I think it is - up north. They don't know what the hell this is. A true artist is somebody who can pull it off just him and the guitar - nothing else needed.

  • Ought to be against the law to sound that good.

  • This is real country!!! Maybe some others should take lessons from Dwight!

  • how you would like to be sitting around a campfire drinking some beer and have a guy sing like that, great music

  • Oh, lord I sing Dixie everyday

  • Beautiful voice but a very foul mouth. I still love his music.

  • wonderful music :)

  • This is my favorite DY song. It's a great version with just Dwight and the acoustic guitar. I worked in downtown LA for a while, and saw some of those guys on the street every day - very sad. Thanks for posting this one.
