SPECIAL PROJECT: "Taps For the Milwaukee Road/Those Busy Bandits" Remake

An update of my tribute to the surviving soldiers of the Milwaukee Road. Features footage and pictures I didn't have when I made the first one, and improved editing due to my year in the TV and Video Production program at Milwaukee Area Technical College (I learned to quit using a different wipe for every transition, simple cuts and dissolves are okay!).

As usual, railroad folk singer Larry Penn's MILW tribute song, "Taps For the Milwaukee Road" as performed at the 2007 Gandy Dancer Festival in Madison, is on the soundtrack.

When the Soo Line took over the troubled CMStP&P at the start of 1986, they began applying solid black patches over the "THE MILWAUKEE ROAD" lettering on the locomotives. Engines with this color scheme were subsequently nicknamed "Bandits." Over time, the patches on the remaining Bandits have flaked off, leaving some units with ugly streaked patterns and some almost solid orange.
