Hi there! Can I ask where your folcrum point is when playing snare drum? Between thumb and index and middle finger or just thumb and index finger or just thumb and middle finger? :)

oh, you just explained it later in the vid.. so i ask otherwise: you don't use the middlefinger as a part of the fulcrum point at all? (cause I saw in another vid how a drummer used it kinda as a mixture between index and middlefinger (and of course thumb))

@shavethebravedave I'm mostly middle finger now a days, index for fast rudiments!

Hi, I've only been playing marimba for a few months, but I have a problem with the two mallet technique. When I try to play certain passages, particularly an E-flat scale or chromatic scale, I tend to hit the mallet heads in the air. How do you solve this problem? Many thanks :)

@d3fyre You probably need to raise the marimba or practice your full strokes, meaning that one mallet doesn't start to go down until the other mallet is already back up.
