@StevesProjects did you try to tune the carb? If I was you I would take it to a shop because these saws are not that easy to work on. You have to take the engine out of the aluminum body to get at the carb. I learned this when I was cleaning out all of the wood dust on mine.

I have this same saw. I just fixed the oiler and put new rope in for the pull starter. Great little saw's. Mine looks like its brand new it starts up in three pulls from cold and one or two when its hot. Do you know how many turns out the adjustment screw should be for the oiler? The screw goes into a plastic pump housing and I don't want to break anything.

I have this saw too but it runs very poorly. It takes forever to start from cold, keeps losing power when cutting downwards and cuts out all the time when used on its side. Any suggestions?

awsome little saw, I have 14 of them ! ( one of every version, form the original MiniMac-6, through MiniMac 20,25,30, several 110s, 120, 130, etc.)
one of my 110s is prctically new. its my favourite arborist style top-handle saw, i prefer it even over my Stihl 009 and husky 335T for up in the tree limbing. McCulloch should re introduce this saw with anti-vibe.it was the most popular & best selling top handle saw through the 70s.

i have the exact same saw, probably same year to, and they sure dont make them like they used to...and it still runs to, and even better than my dads Stihl
