the one worked hard
the other ate lard
one was helpful
the other, couch potato

the second guy spoke with his dad
which made the dad so very sad
the kid asked for his share
he left without being bare

the kid set off to town
he wasted buying junk
pretty soon he was sunk
had not one penny left

he left that day
and sailed away
to join the pigs
and pick the figs

he found out soon
how wrong he'd been
to take his share
and leave so fair

he went on back
all the way home
to work for pops
to get some food

yelling his son was a commin

his son was gone
now he's on the lawn
now he's a back
happy and intact

@jtsdonald Yeah... I had to read the words off a piece of paper (as you probably noticed) since I didn't allow time for memorization, and then I didn't write it in an octave I could sing (especially without warming up at all) ...
