I was here in january 2010. The streets around the hotel are very crowded and look quite exotic for europeans. But hotel is fine and people in Thailand are friendly. But, be carefull with took-took drivers, you shoukd discuss price of trip before the trip, in other case you will pay as much as a driver say to you :)
