1. Rachel Brice is a contemporary innovator in Tribal Fusion Style Belly Dance based in San Francisco. She is the artistic director and choreographer for The Indigo Belly Dance Company and a frequent performer with the Bellydance Superstars.
2. Irina Akulenko is a performer, teacher and choreographer with a wild imagination and a burning passion for the Arts of all generes. Although she discovered Middle Eastern dance purely by chance, her interest in expression started at an early age and was channeled into ballet training, in addition to piano lessons, chorus and drawing. However, belly dance became her main addiction which she sustained by seeking instruction with numerous New York-based teachers.

Dancers want the original music with the video so you can see their movements match the music. This mix is done by a fan and not by these dancers. (they might not even know this video mixup exists).

I am a big fan of Rachel Brice, but I definitely see the inspiration and expressionism in Irina's dancing and appreciate her in what she does. Both women deserve high respect from any starting belly dancers or those who are interested in the dances themselves because in 20 years or less there is going to be even more innovative dancers who will rock our world and bring belly dancing to its rightful place in modern history.
