What's your purpose in life? To serve God and get to Heaven? So when you get there what will your purpose be then? More importantly, what will you do for all eternity?
Thankfully, as an atheist, I don't have to consider an eternity of mind-numbing boredom, but it's something that Christians should think about, and maybe review the reality of an eternal existence without pain, struggle or hardship.
Also, on the topic of pain, some people DO enjoy pain (those who get shit loads of tattoos, body piercings, & the people you might see on Ripley's Believe It Or Not, etc.)

Another case of pure "yumminess" is Ezekiel 4:12,15! Great advice too!! ;)

5/5 & faved!! Keep up the good work, Gisburne!!
After my de-conversion, I had many questions too.
For example, in heaven, is there full-contact boxing, mixed martial arts, with no protective pads, paintball, etc? How could God create a boxer's paradise?
And why is the phrase "no pain, no gain" a religious belief for THIS life only, but NOT in the context of heaven (Revelation 21:4)?
I kind of wish I thought of these things when I DID have a modicum of faith in my earlier years.

Religion is a hideous brain eating mind virus that reproduces itself through generations. The infected are sometimes healed by a dose of rationality. Thanks Nick!
daily bible verse: Deuteronomy 28:53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters.

Why would I want to be with a terrible, sadistic, evil and self-absorbed being like God?
