  • God, I love Craig Parker. I have a few holes he can put his knob in.

  • Watch out...Raboplus Girl is on his "to break" list....

  • @DannieTheElf

I wonder if he and Mark Ferguson ever play Hide The Maypole----with each other....

  • @Taja3429 This comment would seem merely irrelevant without the Yahtzee comment, given that Yahtzee has claimed that Brooker was an influence of his writing and performance style, given that Brooker was doing it years earlier.

As for the other part of the comment, of course the actor's a nice guy. But the character he's playing here is a twat, and the point is that the image he represent is also repellent. That's the "point to make".

  • @Taja3429 Charlie Brooker ripped off Yahtzee's style? You realise even the first episode of Screenwipe aired in March 2006, while the first Zero Punctuation was uploaded in July 2007. Before that Brooker used a similar style of criticism in his Screen Burn column, and even before that when he was a writer for PC Zone. Maybe you're just new to life. Had you encountered such contents as sarcasm and satire before you found the love of your life, Ben Croshaw?

  • @Taja3429

    You idiot.

This is done for laughs and is clearly not indicative of Charlie's opinion of Craig Parker - if anything he's making fun of the wanky characters you get in adverts, the actor portraying them is irrelevant - and Yahtzee got the idea for his style of criticism from Charlie Brooker, not the other way around. Charlie's been doing it for a lot longer.
