BLOG-TALK RADIO CHANNEL: http://www.blogtalkradio.com/a-patric...

Remember when we landed people on the MOON using Slide Rules? Remember buying a scientific calculator for $ 900. Remember computer programs called Quattro Pro, Lotus, Data Star, COBOL, Snowball and FORTRAN. Remember TRS-80's, Atari 400's, Commodore's and Zenith Computers. At one time these were considered The State of Art Technology and it wasn't too long ago at that.

This week we feature Alan Cook, Instructor with the University of Rio Grande on Wednesday April 4, 2012 at 4:00 pm on our Pod-Casting Network Channel.

This week, we will be discussing a common theme all of us want to know more about ..... the Ever-Growing Computer Technology.

Alan has participated in and watched the technology grow by leaps and bounds.
Alan Cook will discuss:
- Information courses at The University of Rio Grande.
- History of computing.
- New advances in computer technology.
