Our animator chad509 has been working with new and updated animations for various weapons for Forgotten Hope 2. Some of these weapons are brand new and will ship with the next release, but some of them are old familiars to every soldier playing FH2.

Those animations are much more realistic and accurate than the last one. Importing some life in movements make the game immersive!

@godGottgod The Thompson fires from open bolt, you can see the moving parts being pulled back before the magazine is changed. When you pull the trigger, the bold is released and it moves forward to fire the bullet.
@KnorpelDelux But then the slide would jump up even when you reload a half empty magazine, so unfortunately it would be wrong either way.

@KnorpelDelux Yes, but you can't show that because of the way the animations are set up.

@godGottgod It is fine afaik. The gun is cocked before the empty magazine is removed by pulling the bolt back. Since the 1928 fires from an open bolt, you don't have to chamber a round before firing - the round is chambered as the bolt slides forward and fired immediately.
