This is the second in the series of videos tracking my preparation of the violin solos in "Ein Heldenleben." Reviews for the first one asked for more dynamic contrast, more variety of pacing, and other interpretive stuff. My mother also suggested that I cut my hair before the concert.

Thanks. You're right, compared to Sheherazade or Capriccio Espagnole -- even to the Grand Canyon Suite cadenza -- this is just about the least beautiful thing that a concertmaster can do.
