Since I'm not omnipresent (darn!) I usually only shoot video at the cross country portion because that is the unique and most exciting part about eventing. But eventing is sometimes called the 'horse triathlon' because there are three stages of competition in the short format. So this time I decided to follow a friend competing at the training level through all three stages - dressage, show jumping, and a bit of cross country. Phillip Dutton makes yet another appearance - seems like he's the one with omnipresence.

  • Good Friday has one heck of a jump on him! He's beautiful and bold! What breed is he?

  • Holsteiner - that explains the jumping. He's also 17.2 hh.

  • Dressage is NOT Good Fridays strong point, but boy is he a bunny rabbit in the field.

    I love his Jump!!

Phillip is not the best rider his legs swing a lot and he always sets down on the horse too hard after the jump, and he was mighty big for that little horse he rode. lol

Thank you again for a great video

  • They're working on it.
