Cincinnati Reds left-hander Aroldis Chapman made his spring training debut Monday, working two scoreless innings in a 14-5 victory over Kansas City. The 22-year-old Cuban defector reached 100 mph at least three times on the radar gun. (March 9)

  • @Kaioken1987 Not true. The reason Aroldis Chapman pitches 100mph+ is mainly because he is 6'4" but has the wingspan of someone who is 7'0". Aroldis doesn't over throw or put more strain than he has to on his arm.

  • @TheJbr777 However both men were very tall pitchers.

  • @wiithepeople2 randy only reached 99 100 mph. never reached 106 like chapman.
