  • v12tommy, you are correct about cubes. Sorry i posted wrong info as i was overdone when i posted that. I had been doing hundreds of calculations re the various cubes of engines over the past few weeks for an R&D. Here is a tidbit for you, the NEW big block Chev of 8 liters ( not 8.1 liter ) will be used for propane use in Freightliner trucks for the 2012 models. It will be in the Daimler Freightliner M2 106, 33,000 medium duty chassis & also used 4 motorhomes & by GM for industrial use,

  • @CREDITS4CARBON a 454 is a 4.25" stroke crankshaft, not a 4.5 inch. That is a big difference. 427 is 4.125 bore by 4 inch stroke. 440 (like the one in the video) is 4.125 inch square, and a 454 is 4.125 bore and 4.25 inch stroke.

  • thats a bad motherfucker

  • Notice that the cubes were much bigger than the 427 at 454 which is a 4.5 inch crank at the same bore as the 427. Great for boats or trucks than need more torque at a lower RPM. This would be the prefect engine for industrial use if run with propane and propane fuel injection Should run for 16 hours all day at about 2,000 RPM for making electricity for small towns and industrial camps.

  • @hazimhct a lsx bowtie bare block is $1975

  • @sprydo7 No problem. If you want to see the V8 CRX just type in the search or check it out in my favorites list on my channel. Glad to be helpful.
