Christopher Perez is just one nearly 1,800 so-called "average" students who is benefiting from personalized attention, extra time on task, academic enrichment and social-emotional support through the Houston A+ Challenge Network.
The initiative was designed to give Christopher and other A+ Scholars like him the boost they need to get on track for success in high school and college, career and civic life.
Performance Coaches from Houston A+ Challenge also work alongside teachers and school leaders to design engaging and effective lessons, analyze student data, and utilize that data to prescribe the best interventions and instructional strategies to raise expectations and performance levels for each and every student.
