This video developed by ILO India's HIV in the World of Work project, gives personal accounts of the stigma and discrimination experienced in the workplace by people living with HIV. They provide a clear message that "With HIV one can live a healthy and productive life - work is as important as medicine to us, hence, the workplaces should develop policies and programmes to deal with the HIV situation". This project is part of the ILOAIDS programme and has been supported by the U.S. Department of Labor and PEPFAR (the U.S. Presidents Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief).

  • Well done guys ! keep going, may God bless all of you and I really pray that there will be a cure very soon.

  • I am an 21 yr old indian-american student researching on HIV focusing in india.. I am so proud to hear your stories, you can do it! you can live with the virus and live a productive life... I have seen people here living with the virus for 30 yrs! yes 30 yrs from the first time it was found in 1080s they are survivors!! you can be too... I hope we can eradicate stigma from India, that will be my sincere request to all Indians!

  • the hiv test is cross-reactive and only identifies the presence of 2, 3 or 4 proteins for a positive result depending on which country one is testing in and many conditions have been found to cause the body to produce those proteins including drug use like IV drugs, flu shots and pregnancy among others. please pray for all those who have been misdiagnosed with hiv and AIDS.
