Yeah but 'A long time ago' doesnt really explain much. But how OLD is the Star Wars civilzations? How long did it take them to advance to what level they are? That vs how old Star Trek civilization has advanced in such a short time.
And no, Q would never have their hands full. They can exist at any point in the universe, at any time, even alternate dimensions. You may as well accept that as fact.

the q race is at its final stage while the force,jedi and sith is progressing everyday.yes star trek is in the future and star wars is in the past.star wars had tech at there time was really advanced,so imagine if star war universe is at the same exact time as star trek.star wars tech will be way more advanced.the empire will demolish the borgs and the enterprise.the q race will have alot to handle cos of the jedis and sith improvment in the force
