Even in FF7 she had her arm in a sling, i don't think it's ever been explained why though.

@Bewgi It's not a sling, it's her armour, she uses her other arm to throw her shuriken. So it's quite obvious that it's armour. :)

@Bewgi No, that "sling" is probably some kind of armor substitute. It's just a design. As you can see, she can move her hand and definitely it's not broken.

Its not movie it's cutscenes off the game dudes
