President Obama Inauguration Blues Party

By:Ruben Lee Sims at cdbaby.com/rubenleesims2. On January 20th, 2009 we celebrate the inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama. Many will celebrate in their own ways with music of their own choice. However, Barack Obama is the first Black President and the music that came out of slavery and suffering of Black America is historically the blues. Therefore, I have prepared an Obama Victory and Inauguration Victory Party in the historic blues tradition. That traditions exemplifies the pain, the suffering, the tragedy,the progress of Black America and the traditional Black expression for hope and change over hundreds of years of oppression. Barrack Obama represents the fulfillment of that hope and change. Therefore, I believe the blues is an appropriate and symbolic way for Black America to celebrate his victory and inauguration.
