I agree with you that a this might not be the most fitted organ for this sonata.
But to comfort you, the organ builders in germany have overcome the Orgelbewegung for almost 20 years by now. New organs are usually built to fit all types of music, with a slight tendency towards more french-romantic coloured voices.

Nicely done, a very spirited performance. I assume that a neo-Baroque stoplist dictated the relative lack of foundations and darker colors that is, IMO, called for. When will the Germanic builders realize that the Orgelbewegung has come and gone and a strong reaction has set in? This is a prime example of a superb performance sabotaged by the cavalier disregard for the 19th century sound ideals that many great composers wrote for, including Reubke.
