1983 ads Michelob

Having just completed an ad campaign focusing on the weekend, Michelob® has apparently run out of ideas....literally. It's strange to see this ad coming off the prior campaign. Either Michelob's ad team really DID have nothing new to add (I'm trying to avoid puns here), or they were waiting for the next big push: by the mid 80s "The night belongs to Michelob" was the battle cry, with Miami Vice/To Live and Die in LA-styled ads.
