Mel B taking Eddie Murphy to court

Former Spice girl Melanie Brown is taking actor Eddie Murphy to court. Her lawyer says she's filed a paternity case against Murphy to establish that he's the legal father of her baby Angel Iris. She's also apparently seeking sole custody of their daughter. Brown's attorney says the actor has yet to pay any child support. She plans to ask the court to require him to do so. Murphy denied he's the father of the 4 month old until a DNA test confirmed the paternity.

It's official...Whoopi Goldberg is the newest co-host of "The View." Barbara Walters made the announcement on the ABC show yesterday. Goldberg will take Rosie O'Donnell's spot as the moderator on the program. She'll start the first week in September.

Actor Chris O'Donnell is preparing to be a dad for the fifth time. He announced on the "Today" show yesterday that he and his wife Caroline Fentress are expecting another baby. The actor married his wife, who's a schoolteacher, in 1997. They already have four children together ranging from 16 months to seven years old.

"Harry Potter" is already up for awards. The seventh installment of the wizard series "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" is nominated for Best Book at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in the UK. Daniel Radcliffe who plays Harry Potter in the film is nominated for best actor. He'll go against Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Rowan Atkinson. The awards ceremony will take place in October.

The Dave Matthews band and John Mayer are bringing their music to students at Virginia Tech University. They say they'll perform at the school next month to start the year with something positive. Also in the concert lineup...country star Phil Vassar and rapper Nas. Students and staff are still recovering from the shooting tragedy there last April.

Mel is successful she has her own stuff she is not trying to trap him. If anything he is the less successful person out there now look at his career with shitty movies like Norbit! Shes on dancing with the stars and has a tour with her former girl group.

@njideka237 truth is.. the baby's here to stay and neither of them thought it through in their equally irresponsible behaviour so Mel should do what most women in UK do and live off the welfare system there - that way she'll get housed and fed for 'free'.. until she realizes she has more than enough opportunistic talent to overcome, improvise and adapt to her unique situation.. on the deepest level, she will see and feel what true love is as her baby gets older

Poor Eddie. What do you expect from a tart? She set a trap and he walked into it. Brits have lost more morality than most western societies, paricularly the women - check out any Brit town on a saturday night and you will see gangs of Brit women liquored up, inevitably throwing up in public - wearing their underwear and falling all over the street. Be wary of the honey trap culture - they encourage pregnancy as a way out of work and it's permeated up into celebrity culture as well
