Part 1. Our series continues with equal opportunity employment in the workplace of Corporate America...or lack thereof. When the studies show that an African-American graduate has to put in more resumes to get the same number of potential interviews as a white candidate, and be even more educated, more experienced, and more highly skilled than their Caucasian counterpart...when the unemployment rate is far higher for African-Americans than for any other race or demographic, are we still living in a "White Man's Job Market"? Will there ever be an equilibrium amongst the races in the workforce? http://www.TobitShow.Blogspot.Com

  • Thanks to all of you for your thoughtful comments...keep them coming!

  • Thanks for the feedback guys, this is something that really proves that there is still a uneven equality in the job market...so sad that there is still more to go in improving things on that front.

  • My opinion is if blacks and latinos want to get paid what they are really worth is to start their own biz ventures. Be it a mechanic shop, Gas Station, Restaurant, Roofing, You will do much better off than working for a white man who will never acknowledge your talents or efforts you contribute to the organization.

  • Great video with facts. Its so obvious though. We don't have equality on this class level we only have equality on the lower class levels.

  • This is some great information! Thanks for sharing!

  • @TheCashistrash possibly the best comment yet

  • Cont. In other words if there was not such a thing as racial statistics used in corporate media to protray black men as criminal then would that eliminate the public view of them. Most employers are apart of the community which conversate with those like them so if one person experience a negative encounter with a black employee he or she very well may not think of him as criminal. Society with the likes of media persons features criminals daily which effecting the community.

  • Cont. It seems a bit suspicious but may hold water for some that have not met up to standards for rightful employment and sustaining gainful employment. However, the explanation dispursed lingers on the lines of disregarding of the Fair Employment Act.

  • Some masonry symbols are seen as meaning something more than just a message but a plan of action for others to get ahead by denoting the positive views of those more qualified at handling those underemployed. Its seems to be a growing market of those smart enough to spend time in share direct information as warning in corporate America for a changing demographic in the Obama Administration. Change is hard but room for others will be available it just sad that those like you deliver it.

  • @TheCashistrash Are you sure latinos are not being affected by the past recession woes. Its true though excuses aren't going to solve a thing. Believe me, some of us have heard it all lazy, others working harder doing jobs that no one else wants to do but we are past that now. This video maybe the wakeup call for those wanting to share in cognitive analysis of the current job market because the black unemployment rate has always been double the national average anyway.

  • Cont. According to a presentative of the Obama Administration of Los Angeles, California, Dr. Nanaji Jackson. She stated that some employers are becoming concerned over specifically black men. Their explanations for not employing them is due to their attitude, type of dress with entrance interviews and reliability in reference to tardiness and absences.
